International Swap

I swapped with Sardun (Sarah) from the US of A! :) I sent her GOSH lipstick in Darling and 7 dazzle dust samples by Barry M. She sent me these lovely goodies!

First up is the NYC chroma face glow in Moonstone, we can't get this in the UK. it reminds me of MAC's blonde msf from the BBR collection but it has a bit more of a berry undertone. It's a lovely colour and will look brilliant as blusher.

NYC Chroma face glow - Moonstone Swatch

She also sent me a Covergirl lash blast, we can't get this in the UK either. I have been wanting to try this for AGES!

The brush reminds me of the Max Factor false lash effect (also wonderfully compared by lollipop26) however, the bristles on the lash blast are much longer.. hopefully better seperation! I also compared it to the Colossal as all three of these mascaras have the same shape in their packaging! However, the colossal's brush is nothing like lash blast. I really can't wait to try it!

I will be wearing both products tomorrow.. I will let you know what I think! Do any of you have these? If so, what do you think?

I've got the Moonstone blush. It's nice, it gives you a pretty rosy glow. With mine, it's sometimes hard to pick up the powder, you really have to work your brush into it. But overall, the colour is sheer and pretty, and the glow is not greasy-looking. I use it as my everyday blusher.

I like Moonstone. It's very pretty! However, I got flakes underneath my eyes from the Lash Blast. :-( Hope it works out for you!

I have the lash blast, at first I hated it but then I learned to love it! It really does separate your lashes like no other!

The moonstone is really good. It does remind me of the MAC MSF, but for way cheaper. Can't wait to hear your thoughts.

you're so lucky! i live in the US and can't even find the NYC chroma face glows!

Ooo yes I am very lucky,so far the lash blast is ok, it did seperate my lashes and added length but no volume? I prefer ysl faux cils a more gloopier mascara :) however! I'm loving the chroma face glow, it gave me rosy cheeks this morning, it applied very well too, very pigmented, not as smooth as mac msf's but it was fine, I can live with it! happy overall! :)

i'm not a huge fan of covergirl's lashblast, but i think it's the lashes that determine whether it works or not. it doesn't pick up my sparse lashes at all, but if you have nice, normal to luscious lashes, it'll work well.

The blusher looks very pretty too :) I'm sure anything with a plum undertone would look fabu on you.

Lovey, you're kidding about the looking good with all those hair colors right? Lol, you made my day. Thanks! I used to have light hair, just like the third picture. Of course, I dyed it dark for the first time in 7 years, and I LOVE it. Which is why I think you look fab with dark hair too. It's just...sexy.

anyway, hope you update soon!
