Review: Elf duo eyeshadow cream, Butter Pecan

Requested by: Princess~Sparkles after it made an appearance in my make up bag, I hope this helps.
I love this little gem as it's a multi purpose product. I use it as an eyeshadow base, blush, contour and highlight all in one! It has a gorgeous creamy texture and applies smoothly, The bargain price of £1.50 or $1 is a bonus! Butter Pecan has a light golden shimmery peach shade and a shimmery taupe / brown bronze colour (I would describe it as similar to liquid form of Nars Laguna) No glitter or sparkles in it, just a nice sheen! The swatch on the left is both of the colours swirled together which is how I use it as blush, I use the lighter colour as highlight and darker as contour. It does crease as an eyeshadow base if applied thickly and has to be set with powder, but doesn't crease if you apply a thin layer.

Thank you so much this helps alot! My main purpose was to see how it would work as a blush colour wise for me & for £1.50 it is worth testing - Elf also have an offer untill midnight tommorow evening of spend £15 and get £5 off with code easterelf - still get you with the 2.95 delivery though ;)- I might need advice on make-up as you're colours are similar to the ones i use even though i am very pale :) x

Unfortunately this is the only ELF product I've never really got on with as it creased quite badly, BUT.... I will definitely try setting with powder! I ordered all my new haul the night before the offer started DOH! x

I have this product and i used to use it all the time! totally forgot about it, great reminder, thank you. A simple sue for me was to use the lighter colour as an all over colour then the darker as a crease colour. Lightly set it and I had a great eye look with eyeliner and mascara. May re-live it tomorrow!
