Illamasqua Eyeshadows!

Whilst in Selfridges I simply couldn't resist the Illamasqua counter, it just looked so colourful, sleek and playful! I was independently just testing out the pigmentation, when the MA offered me a brush and some tissue and also said she would do my eyes - I agreed as I wasn't wearing any eyeshadow! (I was having a minimal make up day) It's always interesting to see how other people do your make up, I would have done it differently!

Here's what she used...

I have to say the pigmentation is amazing and really lives up to the hype, Might I add that this photo was taken at the end of the day where most if my eyeliner has slid off due to the hot weather and running around. These photos were taken about 5 hours after initial eyeshadow application and I wasn't wearing a base. The price is approx £14 for an eyeshadow which is really quite expensive. I don't know if I will purchase any as i'm quite happy with my cheaper pro pan Mac shadows, however I think it will be nice as a treat or when looking for unique colours. The eyeshadow lasted a very long time as you can see and overall I am very happy with it. The MA told me most of their summer stock had sold out but that they would be getting a new delivery next week and suggested that the cream eyeshdaows were gorgeous and a must have - Sooo, I might check it out on pay day to see for myself :) I'm loving this new creative brand and love the dramatic looks and can really understand the hype, I would love to try everything but finances will not allow!

I think the MA did an amazing job...they must be very good eyeshadows for lasting that long and looking like that even without a primer...;)))

I like the look but i know what you mean. Sometimes it has to exeptional to warrant the price tag!

Whenever I let Selfridges MAs near me i end up looking like an OOmpa loompa.. all orange and drag queen like.
