Books I'm reading right now!

Ever since I was little, I have been a book worm. I read anything and everything up to a point that my parents would tell me to stop reading so much because they were scared my eyes were going to mess up, which they did :) I'm long sighted and can't read books without glasses. I used to read in the morning, during breakfast, lunch, dinner, during a car trip (reading signs out aloud) and even in the toilet! Me and my friend would go to play centre after school and would "steal" books from the reading corner because the books our mums bought us just wasn't enough. I would wizz through books like lightening!

Currently I'm reading two books in one go!

Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin.
WARNING: This book is the reason for me wanting to become a vegan, which means becoming a vegetarian and eliminating dairy from my diet. It has 13 chapters talking strictly about becoming a vegan in a no nonsense funny yet factual way. It talks about the important shocking reasons behind this way of living. I have already read this book once before, but decided I needed to read it again. It's written by Rory, who is a former agent for Ford Models and a self taught know it all and Kim, a former model who holds a masters of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition.
If you are tired of feeling fat, bloated or unhealthy.. This book is a MUST! Don't diss it, until you have read it! I am currently in the process of researching further, and writing up a nutritious weekly eating plan to suit me... I'm definitely eliminating dairy from my life, but, still debating on the meat.

LA Candy by Lauren Conrad.
I haven't read much of this yet, my mum only got it for me the other day! So, please don't tell me anything about it! :)

Let this be a tag! I tag all of my followers... What book are you reading?

Ohh great post! I was thinking yesterday that I shoud do a post on books I like, and the ones I wanna read. I'm probably gonna do it one of these days. But as far as Skinny Bitch (hah I just love the title), and L.A. Candy, I haven't read either one of those.. Is LA Candy Lauren just talking about her life or is it fictional?

For some reason I've been curious about Lauren Conrads book, and I don't even watch The Hills.

I just noticed on your profile that you like Amr Diab :D. I loved one of his songs from a long time ago(Tamally Maak I think) and I've liked him ever since.

I really enjoyed reading Skinny Bitch. I just like that sarcastic tone, and I agree with many of the things they talk about. I keep meaning to pick up Skinny Bitch in the Kitch. The other day I picked up LA Candy, and I'm hoping I enjoy it. To be honest, I wouldn't have known the book existed, had it not been for all the bloggers!

As for reading, I grew up the very same way--reading like mad. I used to sneak a flashlight to my room and read under the sheets after I was meant to be sleeping! My eyes are also paying for it ;( xx

go watch a couple of Peta investigation videos and you will never want to see meat again. I've been a vegetatian, almost vegan(sometimes eat a little cheese or chocolate ;)) and it has been great. I feel great and my health has improved alot!! I must now go buy a copy of Skinny Bitch :)

Will be curious to look at "The Skinny" book. Although as a nutritional advisor and (almost there) nutritional therapist I tend to have my own opinion on what a healthy balanced diet looks like. :)

Skinny Bitch is great in general for anyone who wants to live healthier, or at least learn more about foods they're eating, or foods and vitamins they should have in their system if their lacking in some departments of health.

Dang! I didn't know reading could mess up your eyes... I'm near sighted...and I loved to read as a child too, but then again, everyone in my family wears glasses...except my brother, who oddly enough, never loved to read lol. He only uses it to see certain things. Anyway!! I wanna read that Skinny Bitch book, i was telling someone about it just the other day, but I'm reading Buddha by Deepak Chopra, and 30 Days to a more powerful vocabulary Dr Wilfred Funk/Norman Lewis
