Wossa ma Peanut doin?

Hello all, thank you all for your concern about Peanut. His previous owners don't want him back anymore, as they know that he is safe and happy. The man from the dog unit isn't getting him either, as I didn't feel right about it. I 'think' we may keep him!

Having a puppy is like having a baby, it's seriously hard work, but worth it. Peanut and I have bonded so much it's unreal. He follows me around everywhere and sleeps in my arms after playing lots of games. I love him to pieces, he's such a cutie pie! Today we got him a new bed, ahhhh!

I'm taking him to the vet on Monday so he can be de-wormed, and then he needs another set of vaccinations as he's only had one set. I can't wait to take him out properly for long walks.... awww, the little one!

Although dogs like him do needs lots of love and attention and walks I really think you would be okay to keep him. You will deffo give him all the love and attention he needs and there are so many lovely parks in and around London that he would be in his element. He is such a cutie and I can totally understand why you don't want to give him up.

Us humans become so attached to animals and I think that's great :)

Awww, so glad you kept Peanut!
I really hope everything goes well so that he stays with you ;)

What I love the most about having my two little dogs is that they give me so much love and trust without asking anything in return - unlike some recalled "friends"...

Peanut is soooo cute!
I also have a Jack Russel, we live in an apartment but as long as you take him for walks everyday and make sure he exercises regularly he will be fine!
They are so intelligent and funny, it's a great little company :-)
I love mine and couldn't imagine being without her now...
I'm sure you'll do what's right for him :-)
I wish you lots and lots of fun times with your new little friend!
Greetings from Switzerland ;-)

So sweet! They make great little guard dogs, mine is very protective over us and our home :) if you do keep him, you might want to invest in a basket for your post because ours used to get shredded!!! Good luck xx

It IS like having a baby. I even thought like that when I first got my hamster and he's way smaller than peanut. You sound like you're a fantastic mum hunni.
And peanut is just beautiful. Hugs for him.

Awww i really hope you can keep him, it would be heartbreaking to let him go i'm sure. Also selfishly i want to see more pictures of him! :P i have a puppy too, though a lot older than Peanut but he still is a lot of work.

Hooray! I'm very happy to hear that you guys may keep him. Although the man at the dog unit might have been a good choice, I don't think that Peanut would have received the love & attention that he deserves. Anyone w/ 12 other dogs wouldn't have the time to do so!

Omg Muhsine, he is adorable!!! We have a 6 month old puppy and can't imagine life without him. A puppy, like a baby, brings so much joy and happiness to one's life, believe me! (I just can't believe people go out and adopt these puppies and than abandon them or mistreat them, it gives me goosebumps just thinking about what the poor babies go through, it's really sad) It's a sign, and you guys should keep him if you can. Imagine coming home to that cute face everyday, he will be waiting for you at the door wagging his little tail awwww!!! It IS a lot of work (feeding him, taking him out, walking him, playing with him, vet costs) but I think it's worth it, it's an amazing feeling to have a pet, and I am saying this as someone who was previously BEYOND terrified of any kind of dog (and cats too), and here I am today with a dog of my own and I LOVE it :) Good luck with everything, definitely keep us posted on Peanut! :)

I hope you keep him! I bonded so much with my puppy when she was just a wee thing. Good luck with training! If you think he's not picking it up, one day it will just snap into his head and he will be fully trained! I heart peanut!

You're right about a dog being like a baby! They require a lot of attention. But they're oh-so-cute! Peanut is a little darling!
