Tunisia..

We are back from our 3 day break and here are a few pictures I would like to share.

I know some of you were worried but it was actually a pretty safe trip, we went to the region of 'Hammamet' which was far off from were all the protests were, we had a brilliant time and here we go with the pictures..

We stayed at the Iberostar Chich Khan 4* hotel and we went with Thomas Cook.

The view from our room..

The sea..
It wasn't that hot so we never actually went into the sea or outdoor swimming pool, we did do a spot of sunbathing but the sun wasn't strong enough to actually burn, however we made the most of the indoor pool. :)

Here's one of the outfits I wore..

and a few other random pics..

My gorgeous hubs enjoying the shisha or Nargile as we say in Turkish, but some of them there called it 'Hubbly Bubbly' which I found quite funny.

CHEESE!

The airport was rather empty as you would imagine, there wasn't anything to do, the food and things to buy were overpriced and not very nice. I was gutted because I was planning to buy quite a few gifts.

Here are the few bits we did manage to buy from a shop near our hotel. My hubby wanted the large wooden bowl for eating popcorn out of and we both liked the leaf plate which I have no idea what to do with, looks pretty in our flat though...

My hubby picked out the beautiful statement necklace and I also couldn't resist these coin purses. :)

Have you been to Tunisia?
I will do a post on the makeup I took with me in my next post and what I picked up from Duty Free!

The most perfect couple I've seen in a long time. Wonderful pictures. You look amazing as usual. Tunisia is a destination I definitely want to travel to at some point. It kind of reminds me of Turkey. :)

@Fantastic yes he looks different with longer hair but still him :) hehe. x

@Houda Yes, I didn't like the food much in Tunisia, I was expecting it to be somewhat similar to Turkish but it wasn't even close! X

With the mac face and body foundation, are the N's or the C's darker? Because you look a lot darker than me (I am NW25)

I was suggested N3 by a MAC Artist but it seems a little dark. Just curious on your opinion, I ordered it today on the MAC Website so I hope it's the right shade!

Have never been but now really want to after reading this post! I still havent decided where I'm going this year for my Summer hols so am going to look more into Tunisia as an option

Oh and your leaf plate could be home to some tea lights on a coffee table in the lounge perhaps? Nice for a cozy evening chillin in front of a good movie, with some popcorn in that bowl :-) xoxo
